ABOUT JIM-CORBBET:-


Jim Corbett National Park, India's first national park, was created in 1936 and later named after Jim Corbett, a famous hunter who became a wildlife protector. The park is a safe place for many animals, like tigers and elephants, and people visit to see them in their natural home:

    • Generally morning safaris start around 6:30 am, and afternoon safaris start around 2:30 pm. However these times can vary.
    • It is best to book safaris in advance, as they are subject to availability.
  • Notes:
    • The park is generally open from mid-November to mid-June. Some zones, like Jhirna, remain open year-round.
    • Monsoon season (July to September) often restricts access due to heavy rainfall.
    • Online booking is recommended for safaris and accommodations.
